Type C conductive bulk bags are built specifically for use in various flammable, combustible and explosive environments where there is a potential hazard of hydrocarbon auto-ignition.

    Type C anti-static bulk bag is made of conducting fabrics or plain woven fabrics coated with conducting or anti-static layers. Type C FIBC has seen wide use in storage and transportation of powdery and granulated materials.

    Important
    1. This static protective bulk bag can be used in flammable, combustible, and explosive environments with minimum ignition energy below 3 mJ. The bag must be grounded during filling and discharge.
    2. Dusts, gases, and volatile solvents easily form flammable and explosive environments where static charges would ignite these matters causing explosion.

    1. Outer bag is brand-new polypropylene woven fabrics plus polypropylene black conducting wire.
    2. Inner liner is black conducting lining material. Outer bag can be PE coated and leak-proof cotton strips are available upon request.

    Type C bulk bag features a design that meets related standards for ignition hazards of static electricity. All parts of the bag are interconnected with conducting threads and they are grounded to ensure maximum safety. Maximum grounding resistance: 108 ohm. If the conductive bulk bag is not grounded properly during filling and discharging of bulk material, high-energy sparks my result on the bag surface. These sparks are energetic enough to ignite flammable or explosive dust or volatile solvents. The bag is coated with a layer of grounding film. Additionally, lifting hoops are made from conducting threads so they carry static charges away when the big bag is suspended in midair.
