Introduction to Indicating Device for Switchgear
AB6000 indicating device for switchgear is multifunctional, indicating primary circuit analog diagram, switch status, breaker position, earthing switch position, and spring energy storage. These indicating functions can be freely combined as needed. As an integral part, the indicating device is used on the medium voltage switchgear. It will simplify the design of switchgear panel, beautify the panel layout, and brings improved safety performance and status indicating performance.

You only need to specify the model and provide the primary scheme diagram. Our indicating device can be used for ABB-UniGear ZS1, ZS2, ZS3.2 / Simens-NXAIR / Schneider-Nvnex / Tellhow-KYN28A medium voltage switchgears.

Functions of Indicating Device for Switchgear

Dynamic Simulation Diagram
According to the user’s primary scheme diagram and voltage level (40.5KV yellow, 24KV and 12KV red, 7.2KV blue) , we make the sticker and indicate the touch spots (such as circuit breakers, handcart position, earthing switches, stored-energy spring, etc.) with dynamic instruction module, building real-time dynamic indications to bring more intuitive, richer, and more accurate status information, which is displayed by the indicating device as follows:

1. opening (orcircuit) display
2. closing (or circuit) display
3. pre-opening, pre-closing flashing indication
4. earthing display
5. energy storage display
6. working position display
7. test position display
8. handcart movement dynamic display
9. circuit breaker, earthing switch misuse flashing prompt

The last two indications of the indicating device offers more information to the operator than the traditional display does. The opening and closing display and pre-flash prompts allow the AB models can completely replace the original closing indicator.

Voice Prompts
1. When the circuit breaker is in closed state, mistakenly pushing the handcart to working position will get the voice prompt for opening the circuit breaker.
2. When the earthing switch is in closed state, mistakenly pushing the handcart to working position will get the voice prompt for opening the earthing switch.
3. When the circuit breaker and the earthing switch are both in closed state, mistakenly pushing the handcart to working position will get the voice prompt for opening the circuit breaker and the earthing switch.
4. When power transmission is going on through the switchgear main circuit, people standing in front of the switchgear will get the voice prompt indicating that the switchgear main circuit has been charged. (this feature is only available on product with human sensing probe)

Charged Indicator
1. LED striking voltage (KV), rated phase voltage × 0.15-0.65
2. Latching striking voltage (KV), rated phase voltage × 0.65 above
3. When the three phases are all uncharged, latching-off light is on, and electromagnetic lock is put into action.

Temperature and Humidity Analog Control Function
The indicating device may take 1-2 channel temperature and humidity sensor and output contact. On-site temperature and humidity values​​ can be displayed, and users can set upper and lower limits of the heating / dehumidification output based on their own needs, when the ambient temperature is ≥ 30 ℃, the heating will stop unconditionally to prevent overheating damage.

Closing Circuit Voltage Value Display
Secondary circuit opening and closing voltage is an important parameter that determines whether the opening and closing are exactly done. This feature is provided by AB66 above products.

Measurements
With the indicating device, you can monitor the three-phase current, voltage, active power, reactive power, frequency, and electric quantity in 0.5 precision.

Contact, Cable Connector Temperature Measurement Function
Online measurement on contact, cable connector temperature in range of -20 ℃ ~ 125 ℃, and accuracy of ± 2 ℃.

Human Sensing Probe
When someone stands in front of the switch cabinet, the lighting within switch cabinet will automatically start. LCD backlighting is turned on. Voice prompts will act during power transmission. When the operator leaves, the above functions stop automatically.

Communication
This device has a RS485 interface with remote communication capabilities, and works with DSC control system.

Note: (1) the above contact signals are all from the auxiliary contact of the circuit breaker, and earthing switch can use limit switch contacts.
(2) all of the indicating lights of the intelligent display device are off during loss of power.
(3) during high-pressure test, all the terminals must be pulled out so as not to get burnt.
(4) matched charged sensor can be provided with the intelligent display device, and if users use their own electric sensors, the output short circuit current must reach 220μA ± 10%.
