The SDEC E series engine features an outstanding safety, reliability, good acceleration response and strong power. Compared to the similar products with the same power, it has a high torque, even at low speeds, and a low fuel consumption. We offer two engine models at 10.4 and 11.8L respectively, with a power range of 290-480Ps. This engine series meets Chinese IV and V emissions standards, and is an ideal choice for heavy duty trucks and mining dump trucks.

The SDEC E series engine was designed in partnership with the Austrian company AVl, and referencing international commercial engine models and advanced engine design concepts. It is designed to be highly reliable, and highly efficient with a low fuel consumption in heavy duty trucks. Its power platform was created under SAIC Motor manufacturing standards.

Fuel system	Using Denso electronically controlled common rail system, the injection pressure is 1800bar. With multiple injection, uniform atomization and reasonable distribution, diesel fuel is burned more completely, satisfying Chinese IV and V emission standards.	Its fuel consumption is more than 10% lower than similar products.
Gas system	It uses advanced and reliable OH2.0 electronically controlled gas system from WOODWARD and lean burning technology. The air-fuel ratio is precisely controlled to ensure a low fuel consumption, meeting China V emission standards.	This system is advanced and reliable with good economy.
Aspiration	With designs of 4-valves per cylinder and parallel airway, coupled with high-efficiency exhaust turbocharger and intercooler, which are matched based on different working conditions, a higher air intake efficiency is achieved. The torque reaches 38%. The torque at 800rpm is 1600N.m and the maximum torque is 2200N.m, with fast transient load response at low speed.	The oil consumption is low, and the power is strong.
Design features	With the Benz DD13 as a prototype, it is jointly designed with Austria AVL and the peak pressure is 190bar. It uses an overhead camshaft, Bedplate high strength cylinder block, rear gear chamber structure, noise and vibration reduction designs. With self-regulating variable displacement engine oil pump and integrated oil cooling and filtering module, the oil is twice filtered to extend its service life.	The design is reliable. The vibration is low, and the noise is reduced by 3 dB to ensure comfortable operation. The operation cost is low.
Reliability	Using automatic production lines created by MAG and other international first-class brands, it is controlled using an MES system. Referring to SPS system guarantee of German Volkswagen manufacturing standard, the product consistency is better. It is developed following GPDP product research and development processes. During the research and development processes, over 20000 hours bench testing of reliability and durability and more than 1.5 million special testing and verification of various types and working conditions were completed.	This engine has excellent quality and high uptime.
Matching adaptability	With optional displacement of 10.4L and 11.8L, and optional engine of diesel and natural gas, the power covers 213-353kW. Without an auxiliary device for air intake heating, the cold starting temperature is -15℃. Based on the assembly configuration and actual operating condition, the engine and assembly are performed matching optimization and customization. This engine has various optional choices including independent air conditioning compressor drive, various fan drives, engines of different specifications, single cylinder or dual-cylinder compressor pump, in-cylinder brake or exhaust valve assistant brake, a variety of flywheels and various oil refueling positions.	The fuel has various choices and the power has wide coverage. This product has good environmental adaptability. It can meet the diversity demand and customization of the users.
Repair and maintenance	The engine oil draining interval is as high as 80000 km, without valve clearance adjustment within 8000-100000km. With cracking connecting rod, the accessibility of maintenance is good and wearing parts is less.	The maintenance cost is reduced with high uptime. It is convenient to repair and maintain.
