Principles and applications of the capacitor motor
The capacitor motor carries out the main winding and the auxiliary winding [starting winding] on the stator winding and they are connected in series in the starting winding to start the capacitor, so that the electric phase angle of the main winding and the auxiliary winding is 90 degrees, thereby generating a large starting torque to make the rotor start running. Because of its simple structure, fast start-up and stable speed, the motor is widely used in electric fans, exhaust fans, range hoods and other household electric appliances.
