Description

The vertical type 530/630 ton knuckle joint press’ extrusion power is supplied by a motor and gravity, giving it a higher production speed. The vertical arrangement design ensures a small footprint, making this equipment ideal for small factories.

This knuckle joint press utilizes a multi-connecting rod knuckle joint mechanical motion mechanism, offering different extrusion strokes at 50 and 25mm, and different nominal force distances of 38 and 16mm. This makes it adaptable to workpieces in a variety of widths, and extrusion is completed in a single process, which reduces the need for subsequent cutting processes.

When the machine is refueled, the extruding force gradually increases once the die comes into contact with the workpiece (commonly known as the force increasing press). There is a .035 second wait time when the die arrives at the lower point to ensure the plastic deformation of the metal blank during the cold forging process. This helps reduce deformation resistance in discharging extruded products and ensures the grain structure is more compact.

Features
  • The sliding block gradually slows down between the nominal force stroke, which reduces the die contact speed and prolongs the die service life.
  • The sliding block and swing rod are connected by a guide pillar and guide sleeve to reduce the lateral force.
  • The transmission component features a thin oil forced lubrication, giving the machine tool a high efficiency.
  • A high slip motor is used to store electricity and save the electric charge, saving energy consumption by up to 30%.
  • The high energy storage and wedge-shaped belt flywheel are used in order to offer a strong driving force to the machine tool and make it adaptable to ferrous metal extrusions.
  • The working stroke rate comes in different speeds and grades to make it adaptable to extrusion requirements for different products. Upward ejection and downward ejection devices are used to facilitate product ejections.
