LSAW Steel Pipe

LSAW steel pipe is made by rolling elongated steel strip of coil with specific specifications into tubular shape by a high frequency welder and then longitudinally welding. The steel pipe can be round, quadrate, or in strange shapes. The shape is determined by sizing rolling after welding. During the forming process, the deformation of the steel plate is uniform and the residual stress is small, no scratch will produce on the surface. The diameter and wall thickness of the steel pipe for processing are more flexible, especially in producing thick-walled steel pipe with a high content of steel. LSAW steel pipe has an unmatched advantage when used in producing thick-walled steel pipe with large diameter. As a result, it can satisfy more requirements in the specifications of steel pipe from the user.

Features
1. This steel pipe has a lengthways weld joint. The inside and outside weld joint are welded by one submerged arc welding.
2. After complete mechanical hole-enlargement, the interior stress of the steel pipe is small and uniform, which can efficiently avoid cracking caused by stress corrosion. As a result, the steel pipe features high precise size and is convenient for field weld.
3. With the fine welding after pre-welding, the welding process is stable and the weld joint is of high quality.
4. Weld joint is easy to realize the nondestructive inspection during producing and nondestructive re-inspection when using outdoors.
5. With its large range of specifications, this steel pipe can be used to produce steel pipe with small diameter and large wall thickness, and steel pipe with large diameter and large wall thickness.
