Vertical Machining Center

The VMC-d series vertical machining center is suitable for machining complex curved faces of moulds, and for general precision machining applications. It can machine plate-shaped, disc-shaped, and shell-shaped parts found in common machining applications.

The L-type bed configuration provides the machining center with excellent static and dynamic characteristics. The bed has slanted surfaces on both sides to ensure efficient removal of coolant and chips. The high speed power spindle produces 24000 rpm, up to a maximum of 42000 rpm. The ball-screws and linear guideways provide excellent rigidity and speed of up to 60 meters per minute, and acceleration of 1 g. force. This machine tool is designed using FEM static and dynamic analysis, to allow high speed milling without vibration.
