This CNC flame and plasma profile cutting machine is designed for cutting pipes with outer diameter ranging from 60mm to 800mm. It is digital controlled, and the control axes number ranges from 2 to 6 to suit customers’ varied pipe cutting demands. During cutting process, the control axes can achieve combined operation, so this CNC pipe cutting machine is able to cut out the line of intersection and holes on pipes, and can also conduct fixed angle bevel cutting, fixed point bevel cutting, varied angle bevel cutting, etc. In addition, it has pipe roundness and eccentricity compensation function.

Given below is a detailed introduction on the control axes of the CNC flame and plasma profile cutting machine:  
1. X axis functions to control workpieces’ rotation movement.
2. Y axis functions to control the cutting torch’s movement along the pipe’s axial direction.
3. Z axis functions to control the swing movement of the cutting torch, along the pipe’s axial direction.
4. U axis controls the elevating movement of the cutting torch.
5. W axis controls the swing movement of the cutting torch, along the pipe’s radial direction.
6. V axis controls the telescoping movement of the cutting head.
