V-1 Sight Glass
The sight glass is the important refrigerationequipment. The indicator provided by this sight glass can tell the watercontent in the refrigeration agent by variation of colors. It looks mazarine blue when the refrigeration agent has the leastmoisture content, while it looks pink for maximum moisture content. At thattime, it means that the dry filter needs replacement. Medium temperature isbetween -50 and + 80. Applicable media: CFC, HCFC, HFC, andHCFV.
The sight glass canbe used to indicate the following:
1) Refrigerant state in liquid line in the refrigerating plant.
2) Liquid water content of refrigerant.
3) Liquid flow in oil return pipe from oil separator to compressor.
