Uncoiler, Straightening Head, Flattener

As a type of auxiliaryequipment for pipe making machine, uncoiler is designed to hold the strip steelcoil and then unwind the strip coil into steel strip, thus making the next pipemaking step easier. When the steel strip comes with a large thickness, astraightening head is necessary.
A flattener is used for flattening the ends of steel strip. Given below is thestructure and working principle of flattener.
The flattener is designed with a pair of punch roll in the feeding part, andthe pinch roll is depressed by a hydraulic cylinder and the flattening rolleris depressed in decelerating manner through a wormgear. Meanwhile, the synchronous operation of worm wheels at differentlocations is achieved by sleeve coupling, thus ensuring the upper flatteningroller and the lower fixed roller are paralleled so as to achieve flatteningfunction.
