Toothpastesilica gel, as its name implies, is a silica gel mainly used for toothpasteproduction. It is in the shape of amorphous powder, which is odorless andinsoluble in water and acid. Inthe process of toothpaste manufacture, the silica gel performs the functions ofcolor changing, thickening, mildew prevention, water adsorption and oiladsorption. The structure and particle size of silicon dioxide can beeffectively controlled by adjusting the production conditions. The toothpastesilica gel, which is made according to types of toothpaste, is available inthree types: friction type, mixed type and thickening type.
