1. FRT-A Tester for Determining Ductility and Elasticity of Suture Needles
Principle of measuring ductility: bend the needle body through a given angle (i.e. bend the straight needle 90°; bend the half-curved needle 3/8 circle; bend the 3/8 circle needle straight) and calculate the downstream travel. If the needle withstands the given amount of bending without cracking, it is considered as the eligible.

Principle of measuring elasticity: extend the needle by applying a given amount of force, and remove the applied force until the chord length acquires the set value. After release of the load, the deformation amount of the chord length is measured immediately. The amount of increase and deformation is obtained by distance measuring unit independent of application of external force.

The tester consists of PLC, touch screen, centimeter dial gauge, distance measuring unit, transmission unit, printer, etc. In use of HMI touch screen, operators can set parameters themselves, and the apparatus can realize automatic running and real time display of downstream travel and the amount of increase and deformation. The built-in printer can print the test report.

Measuring range of centimeter dial gauge: 0~25mm; error: within ±0.1mm; resolution: 0.01mm
Measuring range of distance measuring unit: 0~6mm; error: within ±2% of reading; resolution: 0.001mm

2. FQ-A Suture Needle Cutting Force Tester
The tester consists of PLC, touch screen, load sensor, force measuring unit, transmission unit, printer, etc. Operators can set parameters on the touch screen. The apparatus can run the test automatically and display the maximum and mean value of cutting force in real time. And it can automatically judge whether the needle is eligible or not. The built-in printer can print the test report.

3. FZQ-A Tester for Determining Penetration Force and Strength of Suture Needle Point
The tester consists of PLC, touch screen, load sensor, force measuring device, transmission unit, printer, etc. In use of HMI touch screen, operators can set parameters themselves, and the apparatus can run the test automatically and display the penetration force and the load required for strength test in real time. The built-in printer can print all test data and the value of penetration force.

Load capacity (of penetration force and the load required for strength test): 0~2N; error: within ±0.009N; resolution: 0.001N.
Speed of penetration force test ≤ 0.098N/s.

4. FG-A Suture Diameter Gauge

Minimum graduation: 0.001mm
Diameter of presser foot: 10mm~15mm
Presser foot load on the suture: 90g~210g
The gauge is used for determining the diameter of sutures.
