Silicone Extrusion Profile

Silicone rubber extrusion indifferent applications and shape is also called silicone rubber profile, siliconetube, silicone rubber tubing, silicone cord, and extruded silicone seal. It isavailable in a wide range of grades and colors. When silicone rubber extrusion is manufactured fromperoxide and platinum cured polymers, both can meet food quality requirements. Ithas a hardness range of 35-85 Shore A and temperature resistance of -50 to +260Degrees Centigrade (up to 300Cfor short periods).

Sizes Available
Flat strips are available in continuous lengths upto 80mm wide. Minimumthickness is 0.5mm.
Cords and tubes are available up to 60mmDiameter. Minimum tube ID is 1mm.

Joining

1. Most profiles can be joined toform endless seals.
2. Hollow and solid O rings are available in a wide range of sizes.
3. Most profiles can be joined to any required angle to form (for example)rectangular gaskets.
