Scrap Briquette Press
Application
Without heating process or adding additives, scrap briquette press can compress various granular or powdered cast iron scraps, aluminum scraps, copper scraps, magnesium scraps and titanium scraps into high density cylindrical briquette, making them easy for recycling, smelting, storage and transportation. After compressed, scrap cast iron enjoys a density of 5 to 6 t/m3 and can directly replace foundry iron for casting.
Scrap briquette press can be applied in aluminum alloy casting factories, steel casting foundries, aluminum casting works, and copper casting factories, etc. The compressed scraps can directly be used as the raw material for further casting, thus largely improving their utilization ratio.
Structural Forms
There are vertical scrap briquette presses and horizontal scrap briquette presses. Vertical scrap briquette press can be further divided into the briquette press with charging jar and the briquette press without charging jar.
The briquette can be output with your desired diameter, within a certain range.
In general, to deal with less than 200 tons of scraps, users can choose scrap briquette press with welded frame structure. To deal with 200 tons to 315 tons of scraps, users can choose scrap briquette press with welded frame structure or four column structure. To deal with 500 tons or above, uses should use scrap briquette press with four column structure.
Operating Styles
Users can choose manual operation, single-pass automatic operation, or continuous automatic operation according to specific requirements. Automatic operation is controlled by programmable logic controller. Besides, your special design requirements can also be satisfied.
Features
Our scrap briquette press uses hydraulic drive mode and can work stably and reliably.
Vertical scrap briquette press requires simple foundation and horizontal scrap briquette press does not need foundation at all.
This briquette press is characterized by strong anti-interference property, high automation degree and easy operation.
It can also be fitted with automatic feeding device and automatic discharging device, to improve the production efficiency and reduce the labor intensity of workers.
If there is no power supply, diesel engine can be used as the motive power.

1. The parameters above are the parameters of vertical automatic scrap briquette press. The production efficiency of horizontal automatic briquette press is 20%-50% higher than that of vertical automatic scrap briquette press and the production efficiency of manual briquette press is 10%-20% lower than that of vertical automatic scrap briquette press. Besides, the overall dimension of horizontal automatic scrap briquette press is different from that of vertical automatic one.
2. If the mark of iron casting is above HT-250, we commend that users choose the briquette press with large bearing capacity.
