Usage Instructions on the Sharpening Stone
1. Immerse the stone in water for 5 minutes before use, and then put it on a steady, flat surface. Complete one or two of the following steps depending on how blunt the knife is:

Step One: 3000 Grit Coarse Grinding
This step is used to repair seriously damaged blades and is suitable for blunt knives.
Hold the knife at an angle of 10 - 30° to the sharpening stone surface, and then grind the edge on the surface of sharpening stone back and forth with a gentle pressure, and sharpen it until the edge is sharp enough.
We recommend doing coarse grinding for your knives and tools every six months or as required.

Step Two: 8000 Grit Fine Grinding
This step is necessary to eliminate burrs of the edge. While fine grinding, sharpen the knife using a more gentle pressure as compared with that in Step One.
We recommend using the sharpening stone for knife fine grinding once a week to keep your blade sharp all the time.

2. Please wipe the knife or tool with wet cloth or rinse it with water after sharpening, and then dry it. Clean the sharpening stone surface with a soft brush and let it air dry.

Caution
1. Use the whole surface of sharpening stone to keep the consistency when sharpening knives.
2. Protect the stone well and avoid damages caused by falling down from a height.
3. The sharpening result is much better when using with sharpening oil.
4. Put the knife sharpening stone and knife beyond the reach of children to avoid any accidents.
