Road Maintenance by Reducing Sedimentary Sand and Snow

The Gobi desert area has poor natural conditions, coming with strong wind and sand, the highway and railway along these areas are often suspended because this issue. People have planted a large variety of trees, shrub and grass along the road where sand damage happens frequently, hoping that these plants can resist wind and reduce sand on highways. However, due to drought and water shortage, the survival rate of these plants is low and the cost is large, it is still difficult to solve the sand blocking problem.

On the other hand, due to the carrying capability of wind, some road sections are likely to be buried by the accumulated snow in snowstorm weather, increasing traffic hazards and even causing traffic interruption.
