RFMV1700 CNC Vertical Machining Center
TheRFMV1700 CNC vertical machining center is one in a family ofRIFA built VMCs. Themachine packs a 4500 rpm spindle speed and 15mpmrapid traverses. The X, Y, Z axis rangeis 1700mm × 1000mm×750mm. A 1900mm×1000mmT slot table is included.
Features
1. The machine base, column, head and cross slidcarriage of the CNCvertical machining center are constructed from high qualitycast iron. An advanced machineconstruction, widened and fixed column design provide added rigidity anddurability. Finite elementanalysis procedures are used to qualify the design.
2. Hardened sliding guide ways are used forthe X, Y and Z axis motions, providing increased rigidity.
3. Servos couple directly to the high precision ballscrews of the CNCvertical machining center, eliminating gears andpreventing backlash and servo drag. Pre tensionedball screws provide increased rigidity and thermal stability.
4. The spindle is supported by six permanentlylubricated precision bearings, which are true cartridge type units. A refrigerated spindle coolingsystem circulates oil around the spindle and bearings. This maintains constant temperatures across arange of ambient and operating conditions.
5. An encoder is mounted on the spindle, realizingrigid tapping as well as accurate positioning.
6. A FANUC 0I controlling system is standard. MITSUBISHI control system is optional.
