Applications
As a kind of URD cable, the quadruplex conductor 600V secondary UD cable can be directly buried or installed in ducts for 600 voltsecondary distribution.

Construction
Concentric stranded or compressed 1350-H19 aluminum conductors, crosslinkedpolyethylene insulation. Insulated conductors surface printed, neutral tripleyellow striped. Three phase and one neutral conductor cabled together (LH lay)or parallel if so specified. Black neutrals may be specified is desired.

Standards
Quadruplex conductor 600V secondary UD cable meets orexceeds the following ASTM specifications.
1. B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical Purposes.
2. B-231 Aluminum 1350 conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
3. B-786 "19 Wire combination unilay-stranded Aluminum Conductors forsubsequent insulation".
4. B-901 "Compressed round stranded Aluminum Conductors using single inputwire construction".
5. Secondary UD quadruplex conductor 600V cable meets or exceeds all applicablerequirements of ICEA S-105-692.
6. "USE-2" per UL 854 available upon request.
