Push Button Switch

A push button switch is a type of master switch which is simple in structure and widely used in many fields. In electrical automatic control circuits, the switch is used for manually sending out control signals to control contactors, relays, electromagnetic starters, etc.
The push button switch comes in a variety of structures, like modular type, snap type, self-locking type, mushroom head type, rotating handle type, as well as ones with indicator light and key, etc. Single button, double button and different combination types are available. Generally, the pushbutton switch adopts modular structure, which consists of button cap, reset spring, bridging contact terminal, and casing. In order to make the user clearly know the function of each button and thus avoid misoperation, usually the push button caps are made in different colors, including red, green, black, yellow, blue, white, and so on. Red cap represents stop button, and green cap represents start button.
