Product Overview
B2116 series 16E1-Ethernet protocol converter provides conversion between 16E1 interfaces and Ethernet interfaces, which effectivelyutilizes the existed SDH or PDH E1 channel to transmit 100BaseTX Ethernet. This device conforms to Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3-1998, as well as E1 interface standard ITU-T G.703.

Benefits and Features
1. The Ethernet protocol converter features low transmission delay.
2. For 116 E1, the max. delay difference of frame transmit order in any two E1s is 32ms, which guaranteesthe stable and reliable operation in a variety of complex networks.
3. The device can automatically detect the number of usable channel in 16 E1s, and automatically allocate bandwidth as well.
4. The protocol converter supports local end loopback, to remote-end loopback and command opposite-end loopback.
5. Support local console based management.
6. Fully address the frame order issue that permits themax. 16ms transmit delay in any E1, which meets the demand of current PDH/SDH network.
7. Realize error rate stat. for E1 line and isolation function.
8. In the case of local-end come with LOS alarm, the system is able to transfer the alarm message and management information along to the far-end, thus realize non-symmetry transmission upon E1 lines.
9. The protocol converter supports for dual-48V power supply hot backup.
