Product Overview
B2108 series 8E1-Ethernet protocol converter provides conversion between 8E1 interfaces and Ethernet interfaces, which effectively makes use of the existed SDH or PDH E1 channel to transmit 100BaseTX Ethernet. As this converter complies with Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3 and E1 interface standard ITU-T G.703, global customers can feel secure in purchasing it.

Benefits and Features
1. The Ethernet protocol converter offers low transmission delay.
2. For 18 E1, the max. delay difference of frame transmit order in any two E1s is 32ms, which ensures the stable and reliable operation in a variety of complex networks.
3. The converter can automatically detect the number of usable channel in 8 E1s, and automatically allocate bandwidth as well.
4. Support local end loopback, to remote-end loopback and command opposite-end loopback.
5. Support local Console based management.
6. Fully address the frame order issue that allows the max. 16ms transmit delay in any E1, meeting the demand of current PDH/SDH network.
7. The protocol converter realizes error rate stat. for E1 line and isolation function.
8. In the case of local-end come with LOS alarm, the system is able to transfer the alarm message and management information along to the far-end, and thus realize non-symmetry transmission upon E1 lines.
