B2104 series 4E1-Ethernet protocol converter provides conversion between 4E1 interfaces and Ethernet interfaces, which effectively uses existed SDH or PDH E1 channel to transmit 100Base-TX or 100Base-FX Ethernet.

Benefits and Features
1. The protocol converter conforms to Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3.
2. It also meets E1 interface standard ITU-T G.703.
3. Low transmission delay.
4. For 14 E1, the max. delay difference of frame transmit order in any two E1s is 32ms, which ensures the stable and reliable operation in a variety of complex networks.
5. It can automatically detect the number of usable channel in 4 E1s, and automatically allocate bandwidth as well.
6. The Ethernet protocol converter supports local end loopback, to remote-end loopback and command opposite-end loopback.
7. Support local Console based management.
8. Fully address the frame order issue that allows max. 16ms transmit delay in any E1, meeting the demand of current PDH/SDH network.
9. Realize error rate stat. for E1 line and isolation function.
10. In the case of local-end comes with LOS alarm, the system is able to transfer the alarm message and management information along to the far-end, thus realizing non-symmetry transmission upon E1 lines.
11. The protocol converter supports SNMP management (custom-made).
