Porous Ceramic Ball, Ceramic Cylinder

PorousCeramic Ball, Ceramic Cylinder

Characteristics
TheZT-PCB porous ceramic ball is developed and manufactured on the basis of inertalumina ball by creating holes on it. It has the same void volume as the inertceramic ball and can play the role of covering and supporting catalyst inreactors and separating the gas and liquid. Due to the creation of holes, thepore volume is increased by 20-30% and thepore structure offers the ceramic ball good adsorbing capacity. This allows theporous ceramic ball to be used for filtering of impurities in oil.

As we all know, the impurities in oil come in various patterns, includinggranular and jellied impurities, asphaltene, and heavy metals, etc. Part ofthem can be removed through raw material filtering equipment. The other part, especially those particles and ferrous irons smaller than 25m, usually remainin the oil. If porous ceramic balls are placed on the top of the reactors, theremaining impurities will be absorbed in the pores of the ceramic balls. Thecatalyst is protected and the service life of the operating equipment can alsobe extended.

Due to varied impurity size and category, etc., we recommend users to choose asuitable porous ceramic ball with proper pore diameter and pore quantity. Asper customers requirement, we can manufacture porous ceramic balls with activecomponents like Mo, Ni, and Co, etc., to protect the catalyst from gettingpoisoned and agglutinated.
