Plastic Wire Gauze Packing

Characteristics
The plastic wire gauze packing is made from Polypropylene wire andPolyacrylonitrile wire by knitting method. It has good chemical stability.

While using, the plastic structured packing is made into a cylinder withdiameters ranging from 150mmto 250mm,andthe cross section of the packing column should be fullyfilled with the packing.

The packing iscorrosion resistant and light (only 120kg per cubic meter), butshould be used at temperatures not higher than 80 in normalconditions.

Applications
At normal temperatures andpressure from 0.1-100Kpa, the plastic wire gauze packing isideal for absorbing applications. It is applicable for countercurrent flowreclaiming processes, such as purification of waste gas, etc.
At temperatures lower than 80, the plasticstructured packing can be used to absorb gases like NH3, HCl and SO2, watersoluble solvents like acetone, acrylonitrile, methanol, alcohol, methanal,etc., as well as strong off odor matters like amine, thioalcohol and so on. Thepacking is commonly used in the environmental protection industry.
