PTFE Fine Powder
Brief Description:
This PTFE fine powder is a kind homopolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, using the way of dispersion polymerization. The products which have the ingredients of PTFE fine powder provide better properties of the fluoropolymers, including low friction, stick surfaces and retention of properties after service at 260, useful properties at -240, chemical inertness to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. Outstanding dielectric properties and stable frequency and temperature make it popular at home and abroad. Additionally, it has the feature of moderate stiffness and high ultimate elongation.
Working Process:
This PTFE fine powder is used for extrusion with the aid of liquid extrusion. Before being placed in the cylinder of a ram-type extruder, the damp powder is compressed into a cylindrical preform slug.
Although under pressure, the finishing die can force the composition to produce beading, tubing, or coatings. Therefore, small size rod, thin wall tube, insulation layer of wire, unsintered sealing tape, e-PTFE membrane, or fiber can be processed by PTFE fine powder.

Packaging:
The granular PTFE resin need to be packaged by double layer plastic bags, ant then packed with fiber drums or plastic drums. The net weight is 20kg each drum.
Storage and Transportation:
This granular PTFE resin is stored in clean, cool and dry warehoused. Humid, dust or any other foreign particles will cause contamination. It must be handled carefully to avoid shearing the powder prior to extrusion.
Safety Precautions:
If under the temperature above 260, the minor amount of decomposition products of PTFE resins will be given off. The decomposition products may be harmful, so these fumes must be avoided to inhalant. Ovens, process equipment and the working area must be adequately ventilated.
