Instructions
1. Before applying the outdoor steel structure fireproof coating, do thorough derusting on the surface of steel structure, and precoat the anti-corrosive primer. Make sure that the surface of base materials is neat, dry, and oil free.
2. Surface priming is important before coating the thick film outdoor steel structure fireproof paint. Generally, make the priming coat 1-2mm thick, and uniform.
3. As for coating preparation, mix the ZB60-1 paint, water and special adhesive in the proportion of 3:2:1. The water quantity can be slightly varied in the mixture so as to accommodate to spray finishing or smearing.
4. As the thick film outdoor steel structure fireproof coating is a kind of powdery mixture, it must be prepared on site for instant usage. Mix the coating until it is viscous, and use up the prepared paint as soon as possible. (The mixture ratio of ZB60-1 paint and water is approximately 1:0.8.
5. As a general rule, the thick film paint coated for the first time should be 6-10mm thick. The time interval from the next coating depends on environmental temperature, with 24h interval at 20.
