Usage Instructions on the Diamond Sharpening Stone
1. Place the diamond sharpening stone on a non-slip, stable, flat surface.
2. Complete one or both of the following steps depending on how blunt the blade is:
Step One: Coarse Sharpening
The coarse sharpening function allows the diamond sharpening stone to repair a badly damaged blade and re-grind very blunt knives.
Move the blade back and forth over the 360 grit side of the sharpening stone at an angle of 10 - 30° by using a light pressure.
We recommend using the diamond sharpening stone for your knife sharpening every six months or as required.
Step Two: Fine Honing
The fine honing function allows the diamond sharpening stone to remove the burrs resulting from the coarse sharpening stage, improper use, etc.
While fine honing for the blade use a gentle pressure to move the blade back and forth on the 600 grit stone side.
It is recommended to do it approximately once a week.
3. Clean the knife with the water or wiper and dry it after use and clean the sharpening stone with a banister brush.

Caution
1. Do not use the knife sharpening stone to sharpen serrated blades.
2. It is best to use with sharpening oil or water.
3. The diamond may discolor. This is normal.
4. Don’t put the diamond sharpening stone in the dishwasher or water
5. Put the knife sharpener and/or knife beyond the reach of children.
