In carbonless copy paper production process, the pressure
sensitive dye solvent oil is mainly used to dissolve CVL (Crystal Violet Lactone), which will become
microcapsules after emulsification. The microcapsules spread out on paper will
show distinctive color when they are burst by extrusion.
The product is made from
Phenyl Xylyl Ethane, which
is non-toxic, tasteless, easy to be emulsified, offers
high boiling point, low viscosity and will not crystallize under low
temperature. It becomes preferred pressure sensitive dye solvent oil for carbonless
copy paper.
