Mineral Insulated Cable (MI cable)

Mineral insulated cable is kind of electrical cable made from copper conductors inside a copper sheath, insulated by inorganic magnesium oxide powder. It is also called MI cable for short.
Specifications of Mineral Insulated Cable:
Insulation material: MgO (magnesium oxide powder)
Shield material: SS321, SS310, INCONEL 600
Simplex, duplex and multi points are available
Minimum diameter could be 0.5mm
Application of Mineral Insulated Cable:
Mineral insulated cables/ MI cables are used to provide circuit integrity for power and control circuits of critical equipment, such as the thermocouple, RTD, etc.
