Metal Cut to Length Line
Cut-to-length lines, takes flat rolled steel or coiled steel, unrolls it, levels and cuts it to desired length sheet. They are also known as blanking lines, level lines, and shear lines. 50 years ago most steel sheet was purchased directly from the mills, however it became more efficient to send the master coils to a service center where the material could be processed for the end user. Cut-to-length lines can be start/stop, such as in heavy guage metal processing, or a free loop on lighter guage materials.
Introduction:
This is a kind of steel coil leveling equipment, integrating scissor and drop-type stackers. It has the feature of hydraulic adjustments and oiling capabilities. The resulting steel coils have uniform width and flatness, so that the appearances can be improve, at the same time, the quality of finished operation can also be improved too.
