MPO Cassette

MTP technology with the MPO cassette is the up-and-coming standard for fiber optic networks. Similar to the MTRJ connector in its style, the MTP connector is actually capable of holding a much higher amount of fibers, up to 72 fibers in some applications. Most applications do call for higher through-puts which standard fiber technology cannot handle.

It is buckling under the pressure and MTP is here to help. MTP Cassette Modules provide secure transition between MTP and LC or SC discreet connectors. They are used to interconnect MTP backbones with LC or SC patching or connection to active equipment.

MTP Fiber Cassettes, Multimode 62.5/125 Micron
These Multimode 62.5/125 micron optical cassettes are fiber adapter panels with pre-terminated and pre-tested fiber harnesses already loaded in the cassette. The cassettes can be snapped into our standard 1RU and 4RU fiber enclosures (patch panel).
