Fiber Optic Cleaver

The fiber optic cleaver is used to cut the fiberglass to make a good end face, as we know the quality of the bare fiber end face will determine the quality of the joint of the fibers, in the fiber optic fusion process. The joint point quality means higher or lower attenuation of the fiber connection line.

This fiber optic cleaver is a semi-auto type and it is one-step operation, which makes it easy to use with high precision- the end face angle fault is within 0.5 degrees. The fiber optic cleaver has long lifetime, its blade has 48,000 times use as minimum and it is not only suitable for single fiber cable but also for ribbon fiber optic cable cleaving. With a dimension of 58*55*48 mm and weight only 290 g, it is designed to be portable.
