Casting

Casting may be a manufacturing process or a solidified object. During casting manufacturing process, firstly we need to pour liquid material in to a desired mold. Then we will obtain a solidified object which is a casting.
Casting materials could be metal, concrete, clay or any other type of cold setting materials. Casting is an economical way to produce objects with complex shapes.

Advantages and characteristics:
Castings have excellent mechanical and physical properties. They can be made with different intensities, hardness, tenacity, and more. A casting is usually endowed with one or more special properties, like wearing resistance, extremely high or low temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, and more.
A casting's weight and size usually covers a wide range. For example, the weight of a casting may range from a few grams to hundreds of tons. The thickness of a casting may range from 0.5mm to 1,000mm and the length may range from a few millimeters to tens of meters. As a result, castings are extensively used in a wide range of industries.
