Indications
HydroxyethylStarch (200/0.5)andSodiumChloride injection is used as plasma volume expander.
1.HydroxyethylStarch injection is indicated for the treatment andprophylaxis of hypovolemia and shock (hemorrhagicshock, traumatic shock, infections shock and burn shock) caused by surgery,trauma, infections, and burns, etc.
2. Usedin ANH (acute normovolemic hemodilution)to help reduce the patients’ demand for blood duringsurgery.
3. Hypermovolemichemodilution
