Properties
HPMA is a water treatment agent that is non-toxic and easily soluble in water.Its molecular weight is 400-800. As HPMA offers great chemical stability andthermal stability, it is difficult to be decomposed. In fact, Hydrolyzed PolymaleicAnhydride can only be decomposed at a temperature of over 330℃. In addition, HPMA can be usedin an alkaline environment.

Applications
1. Great scale inhibition capacity and high temperature resistance result in HPMAbecoming popular in flash distillation systems (forseawater desalination), low pressure boilers and industrial circulating cooling water systems.
2. HPMA can also be used as cement additive and saline-alkali soil modifier.

UserGuide
1. When used in circulating cooling water systems and low pressure boilers toinhibit scale formation, HPMA is compounded with organicphosphate with adose of 1-15mg/L. The scale inhibition efficiencyis up to 98%.
2. When HPMA is proportionally compounded with EDTMPS (HPMA: EDTMPS =3:1), it can be used for watertreatment of low pressure boiler.
3. HPMA can also be used together with zinc salt to prevent carbon steel fromcorrosion.

HPMA is packedin plastic drums, 25kg per drum

Storage
HPMA should be stored in a cool, dry space. The storage period is 10 months.

Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Incase of contact with skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
