Polytetrafluoroethylene which is shortfor PTFE, also known as F4, Teflon, has unique heat resistance and excellentlubricity in plastic products, so it can be called the king of plastic.
There are some datum about pure PTFE in this table,filling PTFE material can be made by adding various fillings into the pure PTFEmaterial.
Filling PTFE material compared to pure PTFE has the followingcharacteristics:
1. High load deformation can be increased by 5 times;
2. Wearable consumption may increase 5-8 times;
3. Steel may raise 3-5 times;
4.Linear expansion coefficient can be reduced 1/3-1/2;
5.Thermal conductivity can be increased by 5 times;
6.Creep resistance can increase 3 times;
7.Compressive strength can enhance 2-3 times.
After adding to filling, the tensile strength, elongation, and impact strengthhas declined. Therefore, to select filler ratio of ingredients based on theproducts performance requirements so as to achieve desired results.
