Characteristics
Developed and manufacturedbased on inert alumina balls, the embossed ceramic ball has the same mechanicalstrength and chemical and thermal stability as inert ones. The embossed ceramicball comes with increased specific surface area and void volume, which allowsit to have increased dispersing property and flux as well as reducedsystem resistance. The embossed ceramic ball can be utilized to replace theinert alumina ball as the catalyst covering or supporting material in the petroleum,chemical, and natural gas industries.
Application
According to customers feedbacks, the embossed ceramic ball has thefollowing advantages as compared with traditional catalyst supporting andcovering materials:
1. It can make the distribution of gas and liquid much more uniform.
2. It helps increase the gas and liquid flow and reduce flow resistance.
3. It can effectively prevent catalyst from being caked and agglutinated,extending the service life of catalysts.
