Description of Three-phase Electric Watt-hour Meter:
The three-phase electric watt-hour meter (four-wire) is designed to meet thelatest IEC60521 standards for measuring active energy in three-phase four-wirealternating current power grids. Connection is direct or by instrumenttransformers. The three-phase electric watt-hour meter has an average servicelife of 10 years and maximum overload capacity of 600%Ib.
Structure and Features of Three-phase Electric Watt-hour Meter:
1. Meter case
It meets the protection requirements set by protection class IP53 of IEC60529.
2. Terminalsand Terminal block
Terminals:
The connection terminals are made of nickel-plated brass with features of highmechanical strength, good conductivity and corrosion-resistance.
Terminal block:
The terminal block is injection molded of heat- and fire-resistant Bakelite.
3. Rotor
The rotor shaft is turned of high strength aluminum alloy.
