This ceramic edge grinding chamfering production line is made up of one YD-800 split cutting machine, one 5m long conveying line (including auto turning, board moving and insertion units) and one single edge ceramic grinding chamfering machine. It is mainly used for cutting 600×600mm or 800×800mm ceramic tiles into two equal pieces or four pieces, ceramic edge grinding and chamfering. The whole production line or the entire cutting and edge grinding, chamfering production line has high speed up to 10m/min.

The steps are as follows:
A. The feeding device detects and picks up the tiles to feed them piece by piece into YD-800 split cutting machine where the separate upper and lower blade perform cutting on the ceramic tiles at the same time. In this way, both the upper and lower cutting blade only needs to bear cutting half of the tile, which reduces the pressure of blade while cutting. This production line or the entire cutting and edge grinding, chamfering production line can protect the tiles from breakage both on the top and at the bottom while providing high cutting speed.

B. After cutting 600×600mm tiles into two pieces in size 600×300mm, the auto conveying line would double its original speed, and arrange tiles which are in two lines one by one automatically when accelerating. Tiles which stand in an opposite direction are turned to the same direction and are inserted at the space which is empty because of the increased speed. Then these neatly arranged tiles go on one by one to the single edge ceramic grinding chamfering machine for edge modification.
