Description
The type HYI-BII cable short circuit fault indicators are designed to quickly andeasily locate faulted sections of URD distribution systems up to 35kV. They providea reliable means of faultlocation and isolation. In addition, theyeliminate fault chasing methods which are costly and time consuming, and verystressful on URD system. The indicators have been designed to provide accurateand reliable fault indication in a wide variety of applications includingpad-mounted and submersible transformer, URD vaults, and splice boxes, pad-mounted and submersibleswitchgear, fused and unfused taps, substationgetaways, and feed midpoints.
