Usage Instructions
1. Place the knife sharpener on a stable surface before using.
2. Complete one or both of the following steps depending on how blunt the blade is:
Step One: Coarse Sharpening: This is used to repair a seriously damaged knife and suitable for a blunt knife.
Place knife on the sharpening slot and run the entire length of the blade from its heel to the point through the slot using a slight downward pressure. Repeat the action 3 to 5 times. We recommend using the knife sharpener for coarse sharpening of your knives every six months or as required.
Step Two: Fine Honing: This step is necessary to eliminate the burrs on the knife and to polish it. Please refer to the Step One with regard to the use method. It is recommended to do it approximately once a week to keep your blade sharp all the time.
3. Clean the knife with the water or wiper and keep your knife dry after use. Clean the kitchen knife sharpener with a non-abrasive brush.

Caution
1. Do not use the kitchen knife sharpener to sharpen serrated blades or scissors.
2. To avoid damaging the knife, sharpen the knife slightly.
3. Do not put the sharpener in the dishwasher or submerge it in water.
4. Put the knife sharpener and/or knife beyond the reach of children.
