Sharpening Methods

1) Coarse sharpening
Put the knife into the left sharpening groove and drag the entire length of the knife blade from the heel to the point at a uniform speed (usually 3-5 seconds for a metal knife, 6-8 seconds for a ceramic knife). Please do not use too much force and sharpen the knife according to the shape of the blade.
Put the knife into the right sharpening groove in the same way (refer to the above pictures).
To ensure the consistency of the blade, the knife should be sharpened by turns in left and right sharpening grooves.
Coarse sharpening is ideal for re-grinding seriously damaged knives.

2) Fine Honing
We recommend using the electric diamond knife sharpener once a week or everyday to keep your blade sharp all the time.

Maintenance for the Electric Diamond Knife Sharpener
1. Unplug the power before maintenance.
2. Disassemble, clean and install the sharpening head.

(1) Disassemble the sharpening head: Rotate the sharpening head clockwise following picture 6, and then pull out after the rotation stopped.
(2) Clean the sharpening head: Remove the cover following picture 7 and replace the cover after pouring out the sharpening crumbs.
(3) Install the sharpening head: Insert sharpening head into the body of the electric knife sharpener following picture 8 until it is tightened.
3. Please replace with a new sharpening head when the original one does not work properly due to abrasion.
4. The exterior of the electric sharpener should be wiped by damp cloth. Do not immerse the knife sharpener in water or other liquid.
5. The electric diamond knife sharpener should be kept in the cool and dry environment.
