Brush holder is a sort of metal stamping parts. The function of the brush holder is to push some pressure on the brush rocker which slides on the surface of commutator or the collector ring through the spring. So the brush can conduct the current between the stationary object and rotator. Both brush holder and brush rocker are very important components for a motor. If the brush holder is inappropriate, no matter how good the brush rocker is, this brush rocker can not exert its important role, but also will have bad impact on the performance and service life of the motor.

Brush holder, a kind of metal stamping parts, is mainly composed of brush box part, pressure part, frame part and fixed part. Each part has its function. The brush box part is to keep the brush rocker on the regulated position. The function of pressure part is to prevent the brush rocker from vibration by pushing appropriate pressure on it. The frame part connects those two previous parts. And the fixed part is to fix the brush holder to the motor. Brush is mainly made from bronze casting, aluminum casting and other synthetic materials. Those materials of brush holder are required to have good mechanical intensity and properties of processing, anticorrosion, heat dissipation, conductivity and so on.
