MD-3 MD-7

The MD-3/MD-7 breakaways are builtwith check valve and are used for connecting the hose and the dispenser. Whenthe pull is too strong, the breakaway will be broken and closed automaticallyto avoid the fuel flowing.

MD-15 Breakaway

Structure

Description

The CW-15 breakaway is reconnectablefor the conventional dispensing market. It is designed to be installed on fueldispensing hoses and will separate when subjected to a designated pull force.

The dual valves seatautomatically, stopping the flow of fuel and limiting any fuel spillage, whileprotecting the dispensing equipment. When reconnecting the separate halves, theseals are tightly on an O-ring before the poppet stems engage to open thevalve. For proper operation on high-hanging hoses, the breakaway must always beinstalled with straightening hose with a minimum length of 9.For low hose applications, it should be installed down-stream of the retractorcable.

Features

1. The coupling halves are protected byproven plastic sleeves. They are easily reconnected. Just push and twist untilyou hear an audible click, signifying the unit has been correctly reconnected. The reconnectionforce is approximately 15lbs.

2. The breakaway is able to absorb theeffects of normal line shock through the unique design of the disconnecting features.
