Basalt FireproofFabric

Basalt fireproof fabric is made of basalt yarn with diameter of 9-11µm and is divided into twill and satin cloth.  With the dealing with the coating including high temperature resistance, non-hazardous, smoke-free and flame-retardant, it can be used for liningof fire protective clothing, flame-retardant, insulation material as well asfire resisting curtains.  It is non-flammable,smoke-free, flame retardant, high temperature resistant, no toxic gases, goodadaptability, no melting, no dropping, high strength and no thermalcontraction, basalt fireproof fabric cancompete with aramid fiber fabric like kavlar, nomex, Teflon and so on, in the fireproof materials market.

Application
1. Basalt fireproof fabric canbe used to produce protective equipment and fireproof fabric walls usedin sitewelding, gas cutting of shipbuilding, large steel construction and electric maintenance.
2. It can be used to produce ventilation, fireproof andprotection materials like fire helmets, neck-protected fabric used in industries like textiles, chemicals, metallurgy, theatre and military.
3. Basalt fireproof fabric is noncombustible.  The fabric will not deform nor burst under the temperature of 1,000℃.  As a result, it can play a protective role in an environment that is wet, smoky, steamy and withchemical gas.  It is also used to produce clothing which can avoid fire, fire resistant curtains, fire resistant blankets, fire resistant packages.
