Usage Instructions on the Diamond Sharpening Steel
1. Hold the handle and place the other end of the sharpening steel on a flat, stable, solid surface. Apply a slightly downward pressure to prevent slippage while sharpening.
2. Place the heel of the blade at the top of the sharpening steel at a preferred 20 degrees angle. Sharpen the knife from the heel to the point, and repeat the action 2-3 times. Do the same to the other side of the blade until the blade is sharp. We recommend doing this once a week or as required.
3. Clean the knife water or wiper and dry it after use. Clean the diamond sharpening steel with a non-abrasive brush.
