Aerial Bundled Cable

The aerial bundled cable isa new-type aerial cable usedfor transmitting electric power overhead. It is also extensively used in the rebuilding ofelectrified wire netting in urban and forest regions. It improves the safety and reliance ofelectrified wire netting. Following is information about the classification of this kind of product.

1. DuplexService Drop
Primarily used for 120volt overhead service application such as streetlighting, outdoorlighting, andtemporary service for construction. Tobe used at voltages of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductortemperatures not to exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.

2. TriplexService Drop
Used to supply power, usuallyfrom a pole-mounted transformer tothe users servicehead where the connection to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltage of 600 voltsphase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.

3. QuadruplexService Drop
Used to supply 3-phase power, usuallyfrom a pole-mounted transformer tothe users service head where the connection to the service entrancecable is made. To be usedat voltage of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperature notto exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.

Construction
Concentric strand aluminum wires as phase conductor; AAAC (all aluminum alloyconductors) or ACSR (aluminum conductor steel reinforced) as messenger (Neutral)core; Phase conductor is insulated by XLPE or HDPE or PVC.
